ADNOC MMV Baseline deep well drilling casing installation

Project Facts

  • Client: ADNOC Onshore (Abu Dhabi Company for On Shore Petroleum Operations Ltd.)

  • Partner / Main Contractor: Baker Hughes

  • Locations: Gayathi and Falah areas

  • Scope: Deep well drilling, casing installation, and fence works

Project Overview

In field-based scopes, “drilling completion” is not only the achievement of depth; it is the controlled delivery of a bore that meets stability requirements, allows downstream activities to proceed, and can be accepted through a clear documentation pathway. This project combined deep well drilling and casing installation with site readiness elements (including fencing) to support controlled operations across two ADNOC Onshore locations.

Scope of Work and Deliverables

The works included deep well drilling and installation of casing, supported by fence works to align with site operational requirements.

Execution was structured around practical sequencing: mobilization and setup, controlled drilling progression, casing handling discipline, and closeout readiness.

Execution Approach (Method and Sequencing)

  • Pre-mobilization planning: confirming access, work front constraints, and interface points.
  • Controlled drilling progression: disciplined supervision and operational checks to maintain stability.
  • Casing installation: planned handling and staged installation to protect integrity and reduce rework risk.
  • Site readiness: fencing works sequenced to support safe and controlled operations.

Closeout and Acceptance Readiness

Closeout focuses on consistency and traceability: documented scope completion, clear records of installed works, and structured handover aligned to project requirements.
