Project Facts
-
Client: TOTAL E&P UAE Unconventional Gas B.V. (TotalEnergies)
-
Project: Water Well Drilling Services at Diyab Field, Ruwais
-
Scope: Drilling of deep wells; supply & installation of 8″ uPVC casing and screen; supply & installation of submersible pump; pump testing
Project Overview
Water well delivery is successful only when it achieves two outcomes simultaneously: (i) a bore that supports long-term integrity and performance, and (ii) an installed system that is verifiable through testing. This project integrated drilling execution with casing/screen installation and pump-related scope to support operational readiness.
Scope of Work and Deliverables
The scope included deep well drilling and the supply and installation of 8″ uPVC casing and screen, followed by submersible pump supply/installation and pump testing. This structure ensures the well is not only constructed, but demonstrated as functional through testing.
Subtitle: Delivery Approach (From Drilling to Testing)
A controlled delivery pathway typically includes:
-
Drilling controls: stable bore formation and disciplined operational supervision.
-
Completion integrity: correct installation sequencing for casing and screen to support performance.
-
Pump integration: installation readiness and safe handling practices.
-
Testing discipline: pump testing conducted as an evidence-based acceptance step rather than a formality.
“Quality is reflected in bore stability, completion integrity, and test readiness. We align field execution with clear check points to prevent rework, reduce performance risk, and streamline acceptance.”
